Burfoot and Lengel join The Feds

GB.jpgJUDE-LENGEL.jpgSydney production company The Feds has signed award winning, former Filmgraphics director Graeme Burfoot and his producer Jude Lengel.

Burfoot has won numerous awards for his work; Tooheys, ‘War of the Appliances’ and ‘Flies’ for Caltex have won visual effects, animation and direction awards around the world. The Bryan Brown ‘Two Twisted” episode for Channel Nine then earned him a best director nomination at the Director’s Guild Awards.

Says The Feds executive producer Michael Cook: “We are thrilled thatGraeme and Jude, a team of international calibre are joining us. Thisis our 3rd year as The Feds, Lizzy Nash and I feel our roster and thequality of our work has never been stronger. We can’t wait to work withthis very talented and respected pair.”

Says Burfoot: “This is abig change for me. It’s an exciting start to the new decade withMichael, Lizzy and everyone at The Feds.”

Lengel commenced herfilm career working in traditional animation, and then moved intoproducing live action, special effects and animation. She was thechairperson for the commercial division of Screen Producers Association1992 to 2002 and continues working with the association on a number ofissues vital to the film industry in Australia.
