Brent Smart and Adam Ferrier chat with Cindy Gallop on the Black T-Shirts Podcast
This week’s episode of the Black T-Shirts Podcast features industry provocateur Cindy Gallop. Gallop was chair of BBH USA before leaving to start ‘MakeLoveNotPorn’. She also runs her own brand and business innovation consultancy, and is known by her tagline “I like to blow shit up.” Gallop is a vocal voice challenging the industry to embrace diversity.
Gallop joins Brent Smart and Adam Ferrier to discuss the relationship between diversity and inclusion, and the impact it has on creativity in the industry. Gallop also touches on the future of white men in advertising, and (spoiler alert) it’s positive subject to a few fundamentals changing.
The issues Gallop covers, are unfortunately, incredibly relevant today as the industry continues to tackle systemic power imbalances, and she shares her views on how these issues can be broken down.
Co-host of Black T-Shirts, Smart, said of the episode: “Cindy’s clarity of message is extraordinary and inspiring. She presents a very clear argument for how creativity is improved by embracing diversity, as well as how to get there. Have a listen.”
