Melissa Gassman.jpegIn an indication of how far the blogosphere has evolved, particularly in the parenting space, brands and bloggers will now be forming happy alliances with the help of Digital Parents Collective, which launched on 1 July.

Formed by Digital Parents founder Brenda Gaddi and managed by Melissa Gassman (pictured left), who paved the way for successful blogger/brand relationships at Kleenex Mums, Digital Parents Collective boasts an intimate knowledge of the Australian parenting blogosphere, drawing from the more than 2000 blogger members of Digital Parents.

Digital Parents Collective will use this knowledge, coupled with Gaddi and Gassman’s extensive marketing and blogging knowledge, to pair the right blogger with brands. They will introduce an exclusive connection and build long-term mutually beneficial partnerships that can only come from an in-depth relationship with the bloggers themselves.

Says Gassman: “We have got to know many bloggers and their back stories over the past few years. We comment on their blogs, we follow them, we have relationships with them. This means that we can hand-pick the bloggers best suited to partner with any given brand.

“Bloggers are master storytellers and know how best to connect with their readers. The more freedom they have to convey a message, the more compelling, and authentic, the content.

“The closer a brand and blogger work together, the more personal the connection a blogger has with a brand, and the more powerful the brand story becomes. We will help shape future strategies by helping more brands realise that success lies in this kind of brand ambassador approach.”

Digital Parents Collective will utilise the strength of Australia’s parenting bloggers to help brands connect with new audiences through this exciting new business.
