BMF’s Matthew Melhuish takes on executive chairman role, Jeremy Nicholas promoted to CEO

Matthew-Melhuish.gifBMF founding partner and CEO, Matthew Melhuish, will become executive chairman of the agency, focusing on business development for BMF, locally and overseas, and on working with the broader Photon group of companies. Jeremy Nicholas steps into the CEO role from August 1. Nicholas has played a key role in BMF since joining as planning director in 2001 – he’s also the deputy chairman of The Communications Council and chairman of the APG.

 

jeremynichols.gifHe became a BMF board member in 2005 and has played a key role ingrowing clients business, developing staff, and championing thecreative work of the agency.

Melhuish said than Nicholas has proven himself time and time again to be one of the best in the business. 

“He’s got strong ideas about ensuring BMF has a lean-forward technological approach,” he said.

“Jeremy fuses the best of direct, digital and brand thinking and he will make certain we continue to stay ahead of the curve. He knows BMF inside out and our clients and staff have a huge respect for him.  I’m looking forward to helping him drive the business further.”

Nicholas said while they have achieved a lot over the last decade at BMF, there’s still plenty of potential yet to be realized.

BMF’s managing director, Martin Rippon, will continue in his role working with Nicholas across the business; and other key executive team members will continue in their current positions providing a high degree of ongoing stability.
