BMF promotes creative director direct Dylan Taylor to ECD, Dennis Koutoulogenis and Shane Bradnick promoted to creative director roles
EXCLUSIVE – Following the departure of creative director Simon Langley to 303 Sydney, as revealed exclusively by CB on February 14, BMF Sydney has promoted current creative director direct Dylan Taylor (pictured) to executive creative director and elevated senior creatives Dennis Koutoulogenis and Shane Bradnick to creative director roles.
With Taylor joining BMF partner Warren Brown on the ECD level and the addition of Koutoulogenis and Bradnick, BMF has one of the strongest CD lineups in Australia.
Brown told CB: “BMF’s desire to produce world class work remains undiminished and these guys have proven their credentials on the world stage at the best award shows in the world.
“Its terrific to have guys like this to lead the department, not only are they bloody brilliant at their job but great guys to have around as well. I’m looking forward to seeing them spread their wings and helping the agency fly.”

Congrats Dylan, you are one of the absolute best in the business and a champion bloke too. BMF, well done on locking in truly world class talent.
Good on you DK.
Bit like the Oscars no?
Congrats Shane! Well deserved, mate, well deserved!
well done Shane!
So does this mean they’re not replacing Simon with an equally brilliant CD?
They’re choosing to promote from within instead.
Sort of begs the question, what exactly did BMF think Simon did in his role?
so wait.
someone leaves the agency, nobody joins, and all of a sudden “BMF has one of the strongest CD lineups in Australia”
what did they have before?
It was just a bit betterer then Jay.
Well done BMF – and well done DK.
So refreshing to see the guys within have been given the gig in preference to NZ/UK/USA/Asia et al imported ‘hot-shots’.
And DK, it seems you’ve finally lamb’ed on your feet (sorry)!
Well done Dilbert!
So nice to hear the lovely name Glady’s. Are you a nurse from Wales by any chance?
Congrats Shane!
Having worked there before under imported CDs I reckon they’ve done the right thing by the culture. Having worked with DK, I can tell you the guy is all class as is mr. Taylor. Good luck Bmf and good luck Langers.
What happened to Richo and Paul?
Dylan’s cool, didn’t hire us but who cares. One guy you can definitely say gets integrated and where this whole shit-wheel is going.
Three really, really smart moves by BMF.
Well done to Dylan, DK and Shane.
Well deserved by all of you.
Well done DK…richly deserved . And quite a good omen for the dragons….this could be the year.
Congrats Shane, well deserved.
Hey Gladys, what does it matter if a CD comes from UK,US, Latvia or NZ as long as they’re great? I’d say that’s xenophobic if not a bit racist. If an Aussie is good enough to do the job then great, but if an imported ‘hotshot’ is better, then what’s wrong with that. You’ve got to get over your small mindedness.
I want to be the Executive Executive CD CD
Hey Anon 9:44.
I’d say your comment is tautological, if not a bit tautological.
A successful agency that believes in its employees.
Good to see.
Congrats to all.
Congrats to BMF.
Gladys, Dylan was imported from the UK. A smart move I might ad – best in the business.
Does it make sense to hire an outside ECD that’s unfamiliar with how a very successful machine works?
They obviously believe in their product and where they are going.
Smart cookies in my book.
From junior to creative director in 5 years. Meteoric rise indeed. The rest of us should take note. We’re obviously not good enough!

You could be right.
Congratulazioni Dennis,
speriamo di rivederti presto,
Daniele
Getting a bit top-heavy ain’t it? How many CDs does an agency need? In my day, they had one person calling the shots. Perhaps they still do these days and the title doesn’t mean anything anymore.

Perhaps somewhat tautologous as well.
