BMF Planning - Simon McCrudden, Christina Aventi, Rob Chandler, Gareth Cooper[1].jpgBMF has made their first senior moves since Jeremy Nicholas became CEO two months ago. With the drive to make BMF a globally influential creative company, the agency has reshuffled the leadership of the fourteen strong planning department, and introduced a new role – head of marketing sciences.

After 6 years with the company, Christina Aventi (pictured) has been promoted to planning director. Aventi, a multi-award winning planner, well known in the industry and instrumental in the Agency culture, is charged with running key clients as well as internal initiatives.

Rob Chandler (second from top right) has been appointed to a newly created role, head of marketing sciences – the first role of its kind for an Australian agency. Chandler, previously data planning director, will continue to be the strategic lead on the Commonwealth Bank planning team. He is also charged with developing the Agency’s data analytics offer, building world-class expertise in marketing sciences and fostering stronger relationships with academia.

Gareth Cooper (top right) has been promoted to head of planning, to make sure all the stuff gets done. Says Cooper: “Coming up through Channel Planning means that I’m only interested in the best solution, free of channel prejudice. We believe this has served the work well. We have a great depth and strength in planning at BMF and the team are well up for new opportunities.”

Cooper will also sit on the Leadership Team, charged with bringing the vision to fruition.

Simon McCrudden (top left) completes the quartet of planning leadership at BMF and continues his role as planning director. McCrudden joined BMF from Wieden & Kennedy, London three years ago.
