BMF appoints Aisling Colley and Richard Woods as joint-managing directors

BMF has announced a new leadership structure, appointing Aisling Colley and Richard Woods as joint managing directors.

For Colley, her appointment marks a return to the agency, having most recently held the role of managing partner at Ogilvy, where she played a key role in the agency’s long-standing partnership with KFC. Prior to Ogilvy, Colley spent over ten years at BMF, leading major accounts including ALDI. A highly regarded industry talent, Colley’s accolades include B&T Women in Media Winner, B&T Best of the Best Finalist, AdNews Top 20 Emerging Leader, and a previous B&T 30 Under 30 Finalist.

Woods has been promoted from general manager, having spent the past six years helping to drive the agency’s growth. He has played a key role across high-profile accounts such as the Australian Federal Government and Tourism Tasmania, with a track record that includes award-winning campaigns for TAL and RMIT.

Colley and Woods were both promoted to general manager roles in 2022. Their appointment as joint managing directors marks a continuation of their leadership within the agency.

The appointments follow recent business wins for BMF including the retention of Tourism Tasmania and the addition of Westpac and Endeavour Group to its client roster.
