Blooms The Chemist appoints Hardhat as new creative agency following a competitive pitch

Blooms The Chemist has selected Hardhat, the creative agency built on behaviour, to spearhead its biggest communications push to date following a competitive pitch.

The appointment comes at a time when the pharmacy sector continues to experience significant growth, initially sparked by the pandemic. Over the last three years, Blooms The Chemist’s role as a trusted health care provider has continued to deepen, with more Australians than ever turning to their pharmacists for personalised advice.

The community-minded network of pharmacies has over 115 stores nationwide with plans for further expansion in 2023.

Says Yvette Costi, chief marketing officer at Blooms The Chemist: “We’re looking forward to working with an agency that shares many of the same core values as Blooms. We love Hardhat’s approach of blending creativity with science and psychology; it’s a solid strategic method and we look forward to continuing our work with their talented team.”

Says Dan Monheit, CEO, Hardhat: “Blooms is an incredible organisation that really puts care at the heart of everything it does. We’ve got a fantastic opportunity ahead to inspire more people in more communities to experience the Blooms difference for themselves.”

Blooms The Chemist joins Hardhat’s growing stable of retail clients including Godfreys and Kogan.com. Creative work is already underway.

Hardhat was founded in 2005. The agency creates behaviour change for challenger brands through a combination of creativity and behavioural insights.
