BINGE appoints The Hallway to handle creative, media strategy and channel planning
Independent full service advertising agency The Hallway has been appointed by BINGE to work on Australia’s newest entertainment streaming service.
BINGE is an exciting new entertainment streaming service, offering an on-demand line-up of binge-worthy shows and movies from some of the world’s best creators including WarnerMedia, HBO, NBCU, FX, BBC, Sony and more.
Following a competitive pitch, The Hallway was appointed to develop the new BINGE brand campaign from the ground up as well as leading media strategy and channel planning.
Says Jules Hall, CEO of The Hallway: “We’re delighted to be partnering with such an innovative and ambitious brand, as well as crafting the campaign to help launch one of Australia’s most anticipated entertainment services.”
Says Ant Hearne, chief commercial officer at BINGE: “We’re launching BINGE in Australia as the demand for streaming continues to increase and Australians are hungry for fresh content.
“We needed an agency partner who could combine creativity, data smarts and a holistic approach to media. The Hallway brings it all together in one team, sharing our focus on marketing effectiveness and business growth. I am so proud of the work our BINGE CMO, Lou Crompton and her team have created with The Hallway and excited to introduce the BINGE brand and an ‘Unturnoffable’ experience to all Aussies.”
The BINGE campaign launch is scheduled for early June.

Anyone want to tell these guys that Binge is a negative word?
Until it comes brand vernacular, than it doesn’t matter. Give it a year.
There was a pitch on this in November. Have DDB lost it already?
What’s the difference between media sctrategu and channel planning. It’s like saying we do copywriting and art direction too.
… dollar short.
“Unturnoffable”. Yikes. Horrible tag.
Really feeling for whoever has the misfortune of working for this client/ business. Godspeed
