You were asked to choose the Best out of the list you were given. What was so hard about that? Keep your ‘Not up to my standard’ bullshit to yourself.
‘who invited him?’
wow – lovin’ the hate!
such rage over something soooooooooo trivial.
keep it up, wee feller.
jesus, I can only hope I never end up on a jury with this guy. But the odd thing is, despite being so harsh, I reckon he chose the worst of the six TV spots he was given to judge.
his agency won something like 15 + lions, black pencil etc also a black pencil…
so shut the hell up…
I don’t doubt Dimitri’s stellar credentials; but on re-reading my comments they do wander into the angry aisle. So apologies.
My beef is simply this:
Everywhere else from the Academy Awards to the Olympics to the Nobel Prize to the local CWA Jam competition no-one has any problems acknowledging the best of the bunch.
Only advertising feels the need to be so pompous as to declare ‘nothing was good enough’. Is it any wonder we’re accused of being wankers.
What a stuck up twat. I’ve won more than 15 lions personally plus D&AD pencils, without out an ‘I’m so fucking great I wouldn’t approve any of these ads’ attitude. Jesus, no wonder this industry has such a bad rep.
