Bestads Best TV of the Week: CANAL+’s ‘R0_B0+’ via BETC Paris

Each week Bestads showcases standout global advertising work as reviewed by an esteemed international creative director or team. This week’s Best TV ad is CANAL+’s ‘R0_B0+’ via BETC Paris.

The spot was selected as the winner in TV by this week’s guest judge Samira Ansari, Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy New York.

In her review, Ansari says: “We are seeing so much commentary on and about AI. In true Canal Plus fashion, they hit the nail on the head: ‘I saw so many things I could not have imagined’.”

Convinced that humans are at the heart of creativity, CANAL+ unveiled its new brand campaign with a film that reflects its perception of the use of artificial intelligence: a powerful tool to support creativity. For the global media and entertainment group, artificial intelligence can amplify creative ideas, develop or export them, but can never replace them. Produced in partnership with the BETC Paris, the campaign is the culmination of an unprecedented experiment led by CANAL+ with the support of OBVIOUS, a collective whose work focuses on where AI and art meet.
