Bear Meets Eagle On Fire, FINCH + Motion Sickness claim Gold at Cannes Film Lions; Aussie Director Steve Rogers Behind Grand Prix-Winning Spot

Australia has struck Gold in the Film Lions at Cannes 2025, with two standout campaigns recognised for creative excellence.
Bear Meets Eagle On Fire has claimed a Gold Lion for Telstra’s Better on a Better Network, created in collaboration with +61, marking another major win for the agency’s consistently high-performing campaign.
The second Gold Lion went to FINCH + Motion Sickness for the New Zealand Herpes Foundation’s ‘The Best Place in the World to Have Herpes’ campaign.
The Film Lions jury awarded two Grands Prix this year: Channel 4 + 4Creative London for ‘Paris Paralympics 2024: Considering What?’, directed by Australian Steve Rogers through Revolver / Biscuit Filmworks and McCann Paris for L’Oréal Paris ‘The Final Copy of Ilon Specht’.
Presented earlier today Droga5 ANZ was awarded a Silver Lion for Meat & Livestock Australia’s ‘The Comments Section’; Bear Meets Eagle On Fire collected two Bronze Lions, one for Telstra’s ‘Better on a Better Network’ and another for ‘Together is for Christmas’ with +61 andClemenger BBDO for 7-Eleven ‘Go Further’.
