Aussie expat director Mark Toia’s Super Bowl spot for Jeep hits 100 million views in three days
Jeep’s ‘More Than Just Words’ commercial, shot and directed by Aussie expat Mark Toia and created by Dallas-based agency, The Richards Group for Super Bowl has shattered FCA’s expectations by garnering over 106 million views in only three days.
Mixed with some stock and shots from previous Jeep campaigns, Toia, who is represented by Zoom, filled in all the blanks of emotional human moments to pull off an amazing heart felt idea.
The spot has been shared more than 200,000 times cumulatively across Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, with over 50,000 comments reflecting overwhelmingly positive sentiment. It is the most-viewed video in this year’s YouTube AdBlitz, which aggregates views for 90 of this year’s Super Bowl.
Top US band, OneRepublic’s rendition of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ and Toia’s beautiful imagery have captivated not only American hearts, but those around the world.

More than words, but it features words? Confusing.

106 million views. Nice one Mark.
Beautifully shot – as always Mark.
No wonder the Yanks love it – they lap that patriotism stuff up.
