Aussie expat Derek Green departs chief creative officer gig at Saatchi’s Switzerland for US role

CB hears that Aussie expat Derek Green, Chief Creative Officer at Saatchi & Saatchi Switzerland has left the agency and is set to join a top agency in the US. 

Green has been at Saatchi’s for over six years, originally as joint-regional creative director on P&G’s Ariel brand with the other half of The Hairy Banana, Matt Smith. 

Saatchi & Saatchi Switzerland has done incredibly well while he’s been there, winning at Cannes for four consecutive years including last year’s Gold Lion-winning Otrivin Nasal Spray ‘You look dumber with your mouth open’ campaign.
