Aussie director Gemma Lee shoots latest Toyota campaign via Saatchi & Saatchi Toronto

Merv director Gemma Lee, in collaboration with Saatchi & Saatchi Toronto, brings a pair of captivating commercials to life for two of Toyota’s most popular models, the RAV4 and Corolla.

Both spots were shot in Santiago, Chile, with acclaimed cinematographer Denis Guth.

“Well…” follows a young couple on an exhilarating weekend of outdoor adventures, powered by their rugged and reliable RAV4. “Create Every Moment” features the Corolla a visually dynamic celebration of creativity in all its forms.

With stunning cinematography, the commercials artfully combines raw emotion and cinematic storytelling, highlighting Lee’s directorial prowess through striking visuals, a compelling narrative, and authentic performances.

Reflecting on the projects, Lee says: “Working on these campaigns was a privilege. We aimed to make a lasting impact, inspiring audiences through engaging storytelling and emotive performances.”
