Atomic 212° wraps Uluru conference focused on insights, creativity and storytelling

Atomic 212° has wrapped a major conference in Uluru, where over 120 staff, clients and partners from across Australia came together for three days of insights, ideas and storytelling – all in the heart of the Northern Territory.

Titled “All Around: Connect With The Unexpected”, the conference’s speaker line up included journalist, author and diversity advocate Antoinette Lattouf on the currency of real leadership; athlete and Paralympian Jessica Gallagher on accessibility and diversity in media; and Tourism NT’s Chief Marketing Officer, Monika Tonkin, on how the Northern Territory has been put on Australians’ travel map; Programmed’s Regional Director, Head of Marketing APAC, Amelia Collins, and Flinders University’s Chief Marketing Officer, Bev Bury, on leading with authenticity; and artist Vincent Fantuzzo on creativity. Performers included Paul Ah Chee and speaker/DJ Rona Glynn-McDonald.

As part of the event, street artist and creative director JESWRI (pictured below) worked with the students from the National Indigenous Training Academy, to paint a mural decorating the wall within their residential accommodation area. The National Indigenous Training Academy is administered by Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, operators of Ayers Rock Resort.

Earlier this year, Campaign Brief sat down with JESWRI for an in-depth Q&A on his journey from adland to the streets, and how his time in advertising continues to fuel his artistic drive – read the full interview here.
