Articolo Studios launches global brand refresh via TABOO

Articolo Studios has unveiled a new identity and brand mark to support its evolution over the past 10 years into a luxury lifestyle brand.

 

Articolo is a design studio that celebrates the art of light through a commitment to artisanal craft and quality workmanship. With showrooms in Melbourne, New York and Los Angeles, the studio reflects the creative director Nicci Kaval’s passion for textural spirit of light producing works that are internationally regarded for a contemporary yet enduring aesthetic and the luxurious pairing of materials.

The new identity, developed collaboratively with TABOO, expresses a design language that transcends markets, with a result that infuses Articolo’s unique sense of high-end craftsmanship and simplicity of form.

Says Kavals (Neé Green): “This timely and thoughtful rebrand is something that symbolises the business today and tomorrow – a luxury brand whose design horizons are broadening with an ever-growing global presence in over 60 countries and we wanted to reflect that.”

Says  Dane Falkström, design director, TABOO: “The design approach was naturally inspired by Nicci and her unwavering dedication to craft. Each and every detail was thoughtfully fashioned to reflect the brands evolution and support the global repositioning. A lot of love and energy (from all involved) went into this one, I believe it shows.”

Articolo Studio and TABOO have been working together since 2021.
