+Ape and East of Everything create cinematic launch film for Zeigler/Bailey’s Z/B 4.4
+Ape shoot for the stars. This time, it’s a car.
No ordinary car mind you, but the brand-new Zeigler/Bailey – Z/B 4.4, naturally aspirated 2-valve, flat 6.
The Australian-engineered coupe, while based on the classic Porsche 911 ‘G-series’ models of 1975-’89, introduces an unprecedented amount of engineering with a complete redesign of the components and systems within – including a world-first, unique 4.4-litre air-cooled engine.
Its founders, ex-DDB advertising legend John Zeigler and renowned engineer Greg Bailey, epitomise the positioning ‘For the Driven’ having thrown away the rule book to design and assemble the car in Melbourne.
The production of the special launch preview film was gloriously bought to life by a who’s who of the Melbourne production industry.
Written by Grant Rutherford, founder and creative director of East of Everything (who has also designed the brand identity and is the Z/B Brand Creative Director) the film was shot and edited by Richard Hamer of HM Creative through +Ape.

You get a lot of fun.”
