Andy Taylor joins independent agency Sunny Advertising in the role of account director

Following an impressive thirty year career working at leading Holding Co advertising agencies, media owners, and clients spanning the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, Andy Taylor has made the move to join independent agency Sunny Advertising.
Sunny Advertising Managing Director Roger Delaney said he was thrilled to have Taylor join the team: “I’ve known Andy for quite a few years and we’ve been very keen to get him on board in some way. His vast experience and ability to successfully negotiate and manage complex client strategies and media investment contracts totalling over $1.5 billion per annum across Australia and New Zealand will be invaluable for our clients as well as our team.
“We have had significant growth over the past few years and Andy’s extensive experience in agency commercial operations, stakeholder account management and group investment negotiations will help propel our growth to an even higher level.”
Taylor said he was looking forward to settling in at Sunny Advertising following years of travel across three continents working with a number of high-profile media organisations including Publicis Groupe, Omnicom and Dentsu: “I first approached Roger in 2018 as I’ve been a long admirer of the Sunny Advertising journey and I’ve continued to keep an eye on their fierce emergence over the past few years. I believe my deep-rooted knowledge of ANZ media channel pricing can add real value by helping to drive business growth and enhance profitability through data-driven insights while delivering our clients with market-leading pricing and unbeatable value exchange outcomes.

Taylor’s appointment coincides with another significant Sunny Advertising appointment with highly experienced media sales and leadership professional Toni Howard joining the team as an account manager.
Toni has spent nearly a decade in sales and managerial roles with Southern Cross Austereo and News Corp Australia.
