Andrew Ostrom departs AdPartners, Sydney – Shaun Branagan now sole ECD
EXCLUSIVE – Andrew Ostrom, ECD at AdPartners Sydney, left the agency on Friday and is believed to be pursuing other opportunities overseas. Ostrom joined AdPartners as ECD in March 2008 and with his young creative department, has done well to transform the previously staid agency into a reasonable creative force.
Ostrom’s position at the agency was always in doubt once the agency merged with sister Photon shop, Love Communications earlier this year, which involved sharing creative responsibilities with Love ECD, Shaun Branagan.
Ostrom’s career has taken him from Cummins & Partners, Clemenger BBDO,Leo Burnett Sydney and BMF and he is best known for his creative involvement with the Tooheys Extra Dry’Tongue’ ads, Blood Bank’s ‘We gave blood’ campaign as well as IKEA’s’Stand-in dad’ and Johnnie Walker’s ‘Invisible’ spots.
More details on this should come through later today.
