Andre Agassi returns in third series of Jacob’s Creek Open Film Series via CumminsRoss
Australia’s most watched television event, the 2014 Australian Open launched on the Seven Network this week. Audiences also saw the first films in the third series of Jacob’s Creek Open Film Series with Andre Agassi via CumminsRoss.
Created to celebrate and support Jacob Creek’s global Grand Slam and tennis sponsorships in 2012, the films revealed the true character of tennis and its stars. And in doing so, the films mirrored the true character of Jacob’s Creek wines.
Unique to the way the agency works, CumminsRoss’ one stop shop model allowed media and creative to work as one in creating the films that were then produced in-house and filmed in the US.
The first series in 2012 explored the inner world of Andre and what made him stay true to his character throughout his career. The second year introduced his brother Phillip Agassi and his trainer Gil Reyes to give their unique perspective on Agassi’s character.
This year’s series takes an even more cinematic approach and introduced for the first time Stefanie Graf and Agassi’s father Mike Agassi. This third series is currently being broadcast on the Seven Network and will then continue on YouTube.
Since the first series went to air, the films have been picked up by broadcasters around the world and have won both Cannes Lion and One Show Pencil awards for Branded Content.

no double fault…boring and pretentious
I’m a huge tennis fan and I loved them. Especially the Big Jim story.
I love tennis, and watching these adds to my tennis experience. Makes me like Jacobs Creek more for providing something interesting and entertaining to watch – the alternative 3 x 30 second tvcs telling me how cool I’ll be if I buy JC. Give me these any day.
Work for CumminsRoss..
Anyone that is critical of the whole concept on these videos receives my pity. Beautifully edited with a lovely message. Quite inspirational.
I like your films.
