Amber Electric appoints Bureau of Everything as agency of record

Breaking news from the Bureau: BoE has been named as the agency of record for energy provider Amber as they look to disrupt the traditional energy market.

Amber is a revolutionary model that gives customers access to the real value of their energy by directly connecting them into the wholesale market. They’re also the only retailer that makes $0 from what their customers use, instead charging a low monthly subscription, because they’re all about helping people use less energy.

Emily Rubin, Amber CMO says the company is thrilled at the new partnership: “As a category disruptor, we’ve been searching for an agency who can challenge the status quo by getting under the hood of our business as well as making beautiful creative. BoE is a perfect fit and we can’t wait to get our message out there.”

Says Em Taylor, Strategy Founder, BoE: “We were drawn to working with Amber because we 100% buy into what they’re doing.  It is the future of energy.  So much so, that whilst working through their new brand positioning and creative platform we switched over and I even installed a battery. Talk about conversion.”

Says Cam Blackley, Creative Founder, BoE: “The Amber team want to be as disruptive with their work as they are with their product, we couldn’t be happier to partner with that kind of energy.”

Bureau is charged with brand strategy, brand platform and campaigns, with some tactical work already live in South Australia. And will be serviced out of the new and improved Bureau space in Darlinghurst, Sydney.

Bureau of Everything, the creative office founded by Cam Blackley and Emily Taylor, launched in May 2024.  Their model is designed with a strat/creative directorship as the core for more impactful problem solving.  Since launching Bureau they’ve named and launched an eBike called Flight Risk, Rebranded Fone King, repositioned and rebranded tech company Pharmx, created a successful summer campaign for Hawke’s Brewing and got the nation talking about an Australian Head of State by reframing the King’s Visit as ‘Monarchy The Farewell Oz Tour’.
