Alastair Stephen to exec producer at The Lab
After 8 years with Sydney based design and VFX house Engine, well known industry figure Alastair Stephen has joined The Lab Sydney as executive producer.
Stephen has worked with most of Australia’s premium brands, agenciesand production companies throughout his career including Fox Sports,NRL, Foxtel, Qantas, Coca-Cola, Channels 7, 9 and 10, the Sydney DanceCompany, McCann-Erickson, George Patts, The Campaign Palace, 3 DrunkMonkeys, DDB, PhotoPlay, Prodigy and @radical.media.
Stephen will be responsible for heading up the colour, design, 3D andVFX departments for the commercials side of The Lab. He commented,”This is a great move for me as I’ve joined the Lab at an excitingtime. At Engine I was responsible for the creative process andmanagement of the company working closely with the producers designersand VFX artists. This new role is much broader in its requirements withnew challenges, which I am already getting my teeth into.”
