ALDI launches cheeky new ‘Prices You’ll Love Talking About’ campaign via BMF Sydney
ALDI is set to get tongues wagging with the launch of a new price advertising campaign via creative agency BMF Sydney.
The new ALDI campaign with the tagline, ‘Prices You’ll Love Talking About’ aims to bring to life the enthusiasm that customers experience when they discover the great value of shopping at ALDI. The campaign launches with a series of TVCs and that will be supported by Outdoor, Press, Catalogue, Online and in store POS advertising.
The latest campaign builds on ALDI’s recent work for ALDImobile, The Perfect Aussie Christmas, ALDI Lunchbox and Mamia nappies and maintains the brand’s unique tone of voice.
Says an ALDI spokesperson: “Every retailer has their price led campaign. We wanted to do ours the ALDI way and celebrate our core brand benefit, delivered in a way our consumers wouldn’t see coming and can’t miss.”
Says Carlos Alija and Laura Sampedro, ECDs at BMF: “ALDI customers cannot help talking about its amazing value. Sneaking in your conversations anything that we are passionate about is something that we all do from time to time.”

Love them. The new baby one is spot on.
I could lose my job!…Not with the cleanest shirt in the office.
Legend.
These are very good. Well done.
Humour is a tough thing to pull off. These are ok, especially compared to where aldi were not that long ago, but they’re just ok.
So basically a complete rip-off the classic, multi award winning, ‘Prices so good, you can’t help talking about them’ campaign for B&Q in the UK.
But hey, what’s a little plagiarism between friends?
Ads I’ll love talking about. Keep up the good work guys.
Great work. The only funny ads made for a long long time. Well done.
I posted on FB only last night about about the baby one as a backlash to all the baby stuff taking over my feed. Clever, simple and very funny.
In this thread: Employees of BMF Sydney…
Good work. And infinitely campaignable. But my feeling is it’s a great campaign for the wrong brand. My niggle is that with such good production values, the whole Aldi value proposition which underlines the brand is lost. Cheap is a perception that comes from way more than just the overt message of an ad. And that’s potentially a big problem for the long term.
Utter, utter, bollocks.
So basically a complete rip-off (of) the classic, multi-award-winning, ‘Prices so good, you can’t help talking about them’ campaign for B&Q in the UK.
Just pretend 15 years have passed and no one will notice I plagarised this post from Nah, above.
just. not. funny.
I actually laughed out loud at the Laundry spot – nicely directed and good script.
Why has nobody commented about the overacting? It seems to be a plague in Australian ads.
Blah. This campaign is so bad and the creative is cringe worthy.
I think they are an insult to human intelligence! People get paid for writing this rubbish?
