Love these so much!
Pretty good for a boot ad
Urinal is bloody funny. Well done. For boots?!
These are great, nice work.
The urinal is funny, but the other 2 just don’t make sense.
Oysters made me laugh. And I’m a miserable person.
Hilarious first 3 AJF comments… “love these so much!”…
Sure you do.
Last comment – someone who ‘wish’ they’d done this work…
Yawn. Been done.
piss poor art direction on an average idea looking for a product. any number of products really…
Tone and feel all wrong.
Looks like AJF has been hot on the keyboards leaving unlikely praise on a very average campaign. But I suppose they don’t get on this site very often so it’s got to be expected. 5 out of 10 from David and Margaret
Hey 9.47am, what do you mean, ‘Well done. For boots?!’ Haven’t you ever seen the award winning work for Timberland boots?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sort of puts this work ‘for boots’ into perspective.
@8:44 – 10:30: The work is okay. Not amazing. It’s fine if you love the ads, but if you’re a creative who wants to compete for statues, you’ll need to raise your standards.
@11:17: If this is in fact AJF commenting on their own work, so what? You should love what you’re producing. And every other agency comments on their own stuff, so fuck off.
@2:06: You’re nasty. And since people at the top of their game are nice, because they have nothing to be insecure about, you must be crap. I’m glad I’m not you.
@ the guys who did the ad: urinal is best, but it’s not a winner. Great product and the client is evidently open to interesting work. Keep going.
Happy Friday everyone. Have a good weekend.
Cannes.
Not even a smile from me
The urinal one is a pisser.
The others are shit.
Oh for christ sake people, they’re great. And 2.48, you nailed it in the 3rd point. If you’re at the top of your game, you have neither the time nor inclination to leave negative comments. Yes, sometimes some ads deserve what they get but not these. BTW. Urinal is my pick then oysters. Toothbrush is good but maybe familiar territory.
Award School rubbish!
2.59pm says Cannes.
5.13pm says Award School rubbish.
What a contrast in comments.
It’s an Ad. It’s funny. It made me smile.
End of story.
I’ve got pubes between my teeth. Are they supposed to be there?
Hi Tim, no I haven’t, will google it now. But I thought it wasn’t too bad, I don’t work for them, I hate blundstones (redbacks last a hell of a lot longer and are more comfortable) but I thought they were nice. For boots.
Can you post a link to some stuff you’ve done, because if you think this stuff is terrible, I’d love to see what you produce. Not meant as a back-hander at all, you must be awesome.
The art direction feels very sanitised for these kind of boots.
borrowed interest.
Borrowed interest = not a good thing.
Therefore, not good.
