AJF has today announced the appointment of strategy director, Jill Cummins to its senior leadership team.
Having spent four years in the centre of the AJF strategy team, working alongside chief strategy officer Pieter-Paul von Weiler, the newly created leadership role will see Cummins lead the repositioning of the agency as well as a continued focus on effectiveness and growing the agency’s strategy offering to best suit its large portfolio of clients.
At AJF, Cummins has been a critical partner to clients such as Bega, Specsavers, Bendigo Bank and Remedy. Prior to AJF, Cummins spent over two years at BBH London.
Says Andrew Foote, founding partner and executive creative director AJF: “Jill has had an enormous impact on our business and proven herself to be a dynamic leader on many of our clients’ accounts, as well as the agency. We’ve recognised that contribution by appointing her to AJF’s senior leadership team.
“We have incredible talent at the helm who bring breadth and depth to all our client partnerships and agency decisions. I’m pleased to welcome Jill and proud to recognise our existing leadership team who are an authentic voice in this industry and who have helped successfully navigate the business through the challenges caused by the pandemic.”
Says Cummins: “I’m delighted to join the leadership team and I’m looking forward to playing a greater role in driving the agency’s vision alongside an excellent bunch of people. I’ve always believed that creativity can provide a competitive advantage to any business and there’s never been a time where this is more true.”
AJF is best known for its long-standing, effective partnerships with clients like Officeworks, Target and Bega, having won 24 Effies in the past 11 years. AJF is the only Australian agency to win the grand Effie twice.
