Airbag Productions make new hires appointing Adrian Bosich and Victoria Conners-Bell
Director Adrian Bosich (left) and Executive Producer Victoria Conners-Bell (right) have both recently joined the team at Airbag Productions.
Adrian is moving across from Exit Films where he has spent the past seven years. Victoria brings with her over 15 years of industry experience, and has worked with some of Australia’s most recognised commercial directors.
The addition of Adrian to their roster is a watershed for Airbag, whoare building on their reputation for work featuring stunning 3D effectsand animation with a renewed focus on live action production. Foundingdirectors Nick Wright and Travis Hogg have built an internationalcareer combining live action and stunning VFX. Recent clients includeFord, Mazda, The Australian Open and Virgin Blue.
Airbag has been further strengthened by the appointment of VictoriaConners-Bell as Executive Producer. After beginning her career withThe Film Business, she has spent the better part of a decade freelanceproducing. She has worked with directors such as Patrick Hughes andMichael Spiccia, as well as producing live shoots for the likes ofSilverchair and P!nk.
Says Victoria, “This is a fabulous opportunity to be part of acollaborative and energetic team. There is no doubt that we have avery talented group with diverse skill sets including live actiondirectors, motion graphic animators and VFX artists, and I’m reallylooking forward to nurturing this talent. It is no secret that theindustry is constantly evolving and there have been a lot of changes towhat agencies and clients expect from production companies. I thinkthat Airbag has the right people and attitude to meet theseexpectations, with a fresh take on what production can offer, and I’mthrilled to be part of it.”
Adrian’s experience and proven storytelling skills are the perfect fitfor Airbag. His instinct for great performance and strong visual stylehas led to some enduring advertising moments. As well as winning awardsat festivals around the world, Adrian’s work has been shortlisted atthe Cannes Lions, the MADCs and Award. His contribution to the BlackBalloons campaign resulted in haunting images that gained widespreadattention and resonated with audiences.

Nick Wright says, “Since we established Airbag in 2004, we’ve takencare with the way the company has grown.
