ACAM launches AI-Ready for Marketers program to close the gap between ambition and delivery

The Australian Centre for AI in Marketing (ACAM) has launched AI-Ready for Marketers, the first education program of its kind to take marketers on an end-to-end journey from strategy to execution.
Designed to close the widening gap between ambition and delivery, the online course which is open to senior and emerging marketing leaders, moves beyond theory to embed AI directly into real marketing contexts.
ACAM’s recently released AI Readiness Benchmark Report found just over half (52%) of Australian marketing teams remain in the beginner phase of AI adoption, with 61% citing lack of skills as their biggest barrier. Few also reported they have a roadmap or ethics framework in place.
Unlike other AI programs that either teach basic tool use or stop at high-level strategy, AI-Ready for Marketers equips participants with both frameworks and hands-on practice, through a mix of online learning and live Q&A each week, featuring leading subject experts from Monash University, IBM, Woolworths, Leopard, IPG MediaBrands and Norton Rose, who are actively implementing AI.
Over the course of eight weeks, marketers will learn governance, application, and execution, finishing with a fully built, AI-enabled marketing campaign that is ready to deploy, including guided live tool demonstrations so participants can see AI in action to understand how to apply it. AI-Ready for Marketers is the only AI marketing course to combine direct learning across more than 10 AI tools, with enterprise-level strategy and behind the scenes case studies to give marketers the fluency to lead AI-powered transformation from ideation to measurement.
Says Jodie Sangster, co-founder of ACAM and author of the program: “This isn’t just theory, it’s practical, in-depth AI training built specifically for marketers. Participants don’t just learn how AI works, they see it in action across every stage of marketing and finish with a complete, AI-enabled campaign in hand.”
The AI-Ready for Marketers will include insights from senior marketing leaders and explores AI across strategy, segmentation, brand, creative, search, media, customer experience, measurement, and workflow.
Says Louise Cummins, co-founder of ACAM: “It was born from repeated requests for a deeper, more practical course. We didn’t want to replicate the standard training on the market, we wanted marketers to learn from real case studies, and to see technology providers themselves showcase their solutions.
“To make sure it stays relevant, it will be refreshed regularly, with weekly live Q&A and a cohort-based model to build peer connection. We’re also expanding our content pipeline to continue supporting the industry long-term, and we’re also proud to offer discounts for not-for-profits and marketers between roles.”
The inaugural AI-Ready for Marketers begins on 22 October and is now open for enrolments with early bird pricing available until 5 October.
ACAM’s mission is to support every Australian marketer in confidently embracing AI, through training, benchmarking, and community learning. By equipping marketers with the skills, strategies and ethical frameworks needed to deploy AI responsibly, ACAM is helping the industry unlock growth while building the confidence to lead change.
