Whybin\TBWA Group Melbourne launches ‘Small Packages’ TVC for the Nissan Juke
Nissan Australia with Whybin/TBWA Melbourne have created the campaign for the Australian Launch of the Nissan JUKE.
The 45 second launch spot, takes us on a journey with some of history’s most well known ‘small tough guys’ linking them to the all new Nissan Juke. This sits alongside 15 second spots focusing on the car’s unique styling and performance.
Says Nissan Australia executive general manager marketing Peter Clissold: “We are very excited at Nissan Australia to be adding the JUKE to our Australian range line up. The launch campaign really captures the personality and excitement of this little weapon.”
The 45 second spot went live on Sunday 13th October across free-to-air, pay and various digital formats.

Good advertising. positions a new product clearly.
well done.
very clever
Steve Rogers did that? Ouch. THat sucks.
I really love this. Great to see some work of this calibre coming out of a shop like TBWA Melbourne. And nice to see a car ad that isn’t wall to wall car. Brave for this client. More of this please.
Well done Paul. Good to see the move is paying off.
Thats bloody good
Yep, i like that
….and just like Paul Reardon!
Nice work.
Its back to the 80’s.
noice one
Saw this on TV the other night. Good thinking, well executed.
No creative credits?
Love it – feels international.
Lets glamorise war to sell our car. Sounds awesome.
Shame Bashar al Assad isn’t a small dude.
I like it. Although it would have been better if they’d used the Genghis Khan from Bill & Ted’s rather than that Hobbit set extra
CURRENT NISSAN JUKE AD
How are consumers expected to believe in a company when it OK’d an ad chock full of ridiculous factual errors. EG Evry foo know Napoleon was literally diminished by English propaganda to reduce his threat. He was – and this is not difficult to establish- 1m70cm. A good height for a European of that era. Taller than Wellington.
The rest of the errors come thick and fast.
Shoddy work. Insults the intelligence of vast number of viewers. Racist, too.
