CB Exclusive: After four years Tom Hoskins departs creative director role at iris Sydney
CB can reveal that iris Sydney Creative Director Tom Hoskins has departed the agency after four years.
During this time the agency, which has grown from 5 to 45 people and opened an office in Melbourne, has been credited with creating award winning campaigns including ‘Jean-Claude Van Damme’s DVD Amnesty’, and most recently ‘Christchurch Reimagined’, which currently has two EFFIE finalists awaiting judgement later this month.
Says Hoskins: “It’s hard to wave goodbye to something I’ve worked hard to build over a number of years with iris. In saying that, I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved. It’s not every day you see your work as a story on the 6 O’clock news, or manage to win eight creative pitches in a row. But also I believe in knowing when it’s time to have crack at something new.”
The agency is believed to be planning the announcement of a senior creative hire next month.
