The Cancer Council launches social media, online and print campaign for its Supportalk via Ward6
Ward6 has launched a campaign for Cancer Council’s Supportalk, a service providing practical and emotional support for those affected by cancer.
Says Hugh Fitzhardinge, Ward6 creative director: ‘There’s no such thing as a stereotypical cancer experience. Supportalk offers something that a lot of specialists and doctors can’t. That’s the time to listen. We feel we’ve captured this rather complex service in a simple message.”
Says Jhaike Braham, Cancer Council marketing manager: “We came to Ward6 last year hoping they would help us find a way to help communicate our vast array of support groups into a single entity. We’re delighted with the result.”
The campaign consists of print, online and social media.

The tea is not the only weak thing about this ad
Looks like the art director went home early.
Hi Tetley’s and cuppa, Any fool can throw throw peanuts from the gallery. Your efforts are particularly poor.
Hear, hear, Felix.
I like it, simple and the visual says it all…
That’s lovely Felix, absolutely nothing about the ad, just trolling are you?
I can’t help but notice it looks a bit like a steaming bong.
After which you would probably want to eat the peanuts flying around in here.
Strategically a nice idea – well done Dave, but I wouldn’t look twice at this ad. Shame.
