guillaume.jpgAvid is presenting a free Post Solutions event to be held at Sydney’s Four Seasons Hotel on Thursday, December 6 from 4pm – 7pm with special guests Guillaume Aubuchon (left), lead post consultant with LA-based DigitalFilm Tree and Jason Ballantine A.S.E. film editor and president of the Australian Screen Editors Guild.

The event is for people who operate within a Final Cut Pro or Avid production facility and businesses who are looking to scale their media production capabilities and unleash the creative talent within their facility.

Nominated for an ASE Award for Rogue and Caterpillar Wish and an AFI and FCCA Award for the acclaimed Wolf Creek, Ballantine, whose career spans 20 years, will discuss his distinct approach to editing.

Matt Feury, Avid segment marketing manager, Pro Video will also be presenting. Better known as host of “The Rough Cut” Avid podcasts and with an extensive background in live sports television, Feury creates much of the Avid content that educates and inspires Avid customers. He will be joined by Evan Boyd and Stuart Newman, Avid Solutions design specialists, who will discuss the interoperability between video and audio in the post production workflow.
