Crank is a young and innovative production company – one geared towards telling stories regardless of medium. Crank takes a unique team approach to every project, with multiple directors, writers and producers contributing with support from in-house sound, editing, cinematography, motion graphics and VFX technicians. Being young and small makes the team more flexible and innovative than other production companies. Crank’s credits include Dmitri Golovko’s score for the feature film, ‘Red Hill’ (starring Ryan Kwanten), music videos for bands including Stonefield, The Amity Affliction and Young Heretics, as well as commercial work for brands including Hyundai, Big M, NAB, Target, Kmart, Fairfax and Gondwana.
Odell is the principal of Clock End Films. He co-founded Instinct Entertainment in 1998 and has produced 6 feature films Funny Man, Muggers, Till Human Voices Wake Us, Strange Bedfellows, Torn and Long Weekend. Odell has served on SPAA Council and Film Victoria’s EAC, was head of production and acquisitions at Arclight Films from 2007-9 and ran the VCA’s Producer Post Graduate Diploma Course in 2010. He is currently in post-production for ‘Cliffy’, a telemovie for the ABC.
