Hunter truck 2011small.jpgNRMA Insurance and the State Emergency Service (SES) in NSW, ACT and QLD is launching a campaign to highlight National SES Week via LOUD.

National SES Week (12-18 November in 2012) is celebrated each year by the SES across Australia as a way of congratulating the 40,000 SES volunteers for their hard work and dedication to helping people in times of need.

The campaign centres on ways for people to say ‘thank you’ to SES volunteers for 893,057 hours of service this year alone, helping our communities in storms, floods and many other emergencies.

NRMAInsurancespecialbuild.jpgThe main element is the ‘Truckload of Thanks’ tour, where four SES trucks will travel almost 4,000 km, stopping at various cities and towns in NSW, ACT and QLD. People will be able to sign their messages of thanks on the specially laminated trucks or banners.

The lead mediums are experiential, outdoor and social media.

A Facebook app gives people visiting all four partner organisations’ Facebook pages the option to share their thanks via Facebook and Twitter.
