Jason Murphy takes over gasinc as managing director + sole owner after 7 years in director role
After 7 years as director, Jason Murphy has taken over as managing director and sole owner of gasinc.
Says Murphy: “As someone who is truly passionate about the audio production industry, I’m very excited to take on this new role and lead the company into the future.
“gasinc has been providing high quality music and sound design since its inception nearly 20 years ago, and I plan to continue and expand this long-held tradition for our Melbourne and Sydney clients.
“To ensure our clients continue to meet the changing needs of the media landscape, I’m also looking forward to announcing enhancements to our service offering over the coming months.”
A qualified audio engineer, Murphy honed his skills working with leading advertising agencies in Australia, Singapore and the US. He has also won a raft of awards across all fields of audio – from soundtracks for TV, radio, feature film and album production, right through to computer games and location recording.
gasinc founder Rodney Lowe has started his new business, Production Alley, and with this new mobile studio venture, will continue to freelance at gasinc.
Says Lowe: “It’s been a fantastic 20 years and it’s great to see Jason take over the helm and continue the gasinc brand.”
