Sunshine Coast Destination launches new-look website via Visual Jazz Isobar Sydney
Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd (SCDL) has launched its new-look website with innovative features focused on visitor needs and information via Visual Jazz Isobar Sydney.
Says Steve Cooper, CEO of SCDL: “The ever-evolving pace of technology has changed the way we research, book and even experience our holidays. Having all the information and tools you need at your fingertips is essential for today’s travellers.
“SCDL’s approach continues to be focused on delivering the best experience for visitors to find everything they need to know about coming to the Sunshine Coast, and all there is to see and do once they arrive. We’ve researched best practice, done the testing and recognise the needs of the visitor to take our website to the next level offering a
‘one stop shop’ for everyone – visitors and the local community.”
Says Grant Henderson, general manager: “It’s been a great pleasure working on this exciting project with the team at Sunshine Coast Destination. The new site is a significant addition to the Coast’s digital infrastructure – one that will greatly enhance the way visitors find, research and book their holidays with the region’s many operators.”
The website now has booking engines for accommodation and tours, features hot deals, a trip planner, interactive map, blog articles, local insights, extensive events database, weather updates, subscription to newsletters, links to social media, can host campaign microsites and more. Most importantly, the new website will have the capacity to track user behaviour to customise information for future visits and provide SCDL with the valuable intelligence to know more about our visitors in terms of what they are seeking and how they use the website.
