OMD Melbourne promotes Margie Reid to general manager and Matt Mills to business director
OMD today announced the expansion of its Melbourne management team. Margie Reid (pictured left) former head of trading has been promoted to general manager and Matt Mills has been promoted to business director & head of communications planning.
Reid has over 13 years experience in media working across top tier clients with 5 years as business director at OMD working with clients such as Dulux, SCA & Bakers Delight. Reid was most recently promoted to head of trading at OMD Melbourne in 2011, where she was tasked with maximising executional creativity and value extraction for OMD clients. Her latest promotion is testament to her success in this role and will see her incorporate her head of trading role into a broader people, commercial & operational remit.
Mills (pictured left) has been a key member of OMD’s account management team for over 10 years across the London & Melbourne offices most recently heading up the Village Roadshow and RMIT accounts. Mills will continue to lead RoadShow and RMIT but will assume elevated & expanded responsibilities for fostering OMD’s planning community & championing OMD’s communication & implementation planning product.

Both roles will report into Sinha and are effective immediately.
