Well done to everyone, great achievement.
The record tally is obviously due to the record number of categories.
It makes me proud to see Patts back on top at Cannes.
They have taken a kicking or two over the past few years, but never let there creative standards drop, and have emerged a powerful non-traditional agency.
It is a testament to the the determination and vision of their creative leadership.
I hope you are celebrating in the appropriate Cannes fashion.
Congratulations to all, very well deserved.
Great to see TBWA and George Patts smashing it in Cannes.
Coulson, Bowman and Burtan are three of the best talents this business has.
I love that they work at tough, unsexy agencies and turn them into genuine power houses, with Cannes winning work for real and difficult clients.
You guys do it the way it should be done.
All class.
Now, can I have a freak’n job please!
What were the full point tallies?
Meanwhile patts Melbourne are doing how well as a business?
Some great work and deserving of their metal, but this is an industry not a amateur sporting competition.
I think their spot at the top of this tally is very telling.
@planet reality… Well that didn’t take long to become snide, did it? I suppose they’re doing well enough to have been adnews australian agency of the year 2011 and convince the Heinz and Schweppes brands to consolidate there earlier this year. Yes, creative awards are an indulgence but let the winners enjoy their success for a few moments why don’t you?
So even former Patts CDs have difficulty with their, there and they’re.
Where does poor old Clems sit on this tally.
That’s great, well done guys. I know what it’s like to get good work out in big, bad places, you’ve got to work three times as hard as anywhere else.
And you’ve done just that.
Congrats.
We used to have an ex ECD from Patts Y&R Sydney who called himself ‘a writer’s writer’ yet couldn’t master basic grammar and perfunctionary punctuation.
The creative department had to correct his copy at FA to save the agency’s face.
Shocking what AWARD school churns out these days.
Patts for the win.

Easy tiger, everyone can have an off year. I should know, I’ve been having them consistently for the last decade.
