Adelaide’s KOJO Post boosts production team
Adelaide based KOJO Post has appointed a host of new production talent with three key appointments marking business growth for the post production business.
The appointees, Alexandra Blue, Nicola Tate and Estelle Chapple (pictured l to r) each bring with them strong post production knowledge, as well as their own specialised areas of expertise to the team.
KOJO managing director of content and post production, Dale Roberts, says the three appointments demonstrate KOJO’s commitment to providing strong production services and believes the team are a winning combination for KOJO’s clients.
Says Roberts: “KOJO continues to make a strong investment into our production team. Our production team is an integral part of our business that is instrumental to the success of our clients’ projects.”
Nicola Tate now heads up the POST team, substituting head of post production Kate Butler while she is on maternity leave.
Tate joined KOJO in 2005 to manage the newly built sound studio services. Originally from an advertising agency background working with leading agencies, Leo Burnett and Clemenger BBDO, she soon built a strong advertising client base and went on to work on some of Australia’s award winning drama series and feature films, including the highly acclaimed children’s series, Lockie Leonard, and feature Documentary Glass: A portrait of Phillip in twelve parts.
Tate is a valuable addition to the rapidly growing post production department of KOJO, which specialises in full service picture and sound post production for feature films, advertising, 3D/VFX and design.
Estelle Chapple also joins the team as KOJO’s sound producer. After five years freelancing in Adelaide as a director/producer and 16 years with Channel Ten Sydney, Chapple brings to KOJO versatility, experience and knowledge from her varying roles within the industry. She will primarily focus on KOJO’s sound projects for agency and corporate clients and will be a key contributor to the development of KOJO’s continually expanding post production facility.
Roberts added: “Estelle has been in the TV industry for a number of years and comes to KOJO with a diverse range of skills and extensive experience from a range of production roles. We’re delighted to have Estelle on board, and we welcome her breadth of creative and technical expertise.”
Also joining KOJO is post production coordinator, Alexandra Blue, who has an impressive short film background as well as experience in feature films, documentaries and in television. Blue worked in industry development and production at the South Australian Film Corporation before coming to KOJO, and has produced three award winning short films, Unfinished Thoughts, Daddy Daddy and Error’s Escape.
Blue says she is looking forward to working on the future long-form projects that the new role will bring, and is excited to be part of a reputable and award winning team at KOJO.

The new team puts KOJO in a strong position in the lead up to 2012 as they seek to explore creative and innovative projects and continue their groundbreaking work in picture and sound post production.
