This Christmas, consumers will be able to share the happiness of the season with one another via limited edition cans of Coke that have the names of Santa and his nine reindeer on 300mL and 350mL cans.
As part of its ‘Share a Coke’ campaign, via Ogilvy Sydney, running through the end of December in which Coca-Cola has put 150 of the most popular Aussie names on packs – Santa and his reindeer will join the spotlight.
As well as festive names, Coke cans also feature colloquial names like Bestie, Champ, Bro and Mate. For more information head to shareacoke.com.au

What? No Share a Coke with Jesus?
Coke are also running an outdoor campaign using two common names.
Guys, it’s time to have some summer fun…
Adam and Eve.
Samson and Delilah.
Tarzan and Jane.
Fred and Ginger.
Barbie and Ken.
Bert and Ernie.
Bill and Ben.
Starsky and Hutch.
etc
I’m sure Blitzen will be popular on NYE…
Richard,
You forgot Julia & Bob.
The whole ‘share a coke with grandma’ campaign is bizarre and undermines the Coke brand. Suddenly it’s gone from cool to cold. You can get away with this kind of segmenting in the US, where they have media budgets so big they can run very, very targeted campaigns, but here…well, you can’t tell kids you’re Lady Ga-Ga one day and Frank Sinatra the next.
… and by Santa does coke mean the guy who dresses up at my local mall?
Erasmus thinks cool people hate their grandmothers. What a moron.
Do they really have to post every time they introduce a new name?
I mean we fucking get it, you’re putting names on Coke cans! Now fuck off!
I’ll be impressed when they get; Satan, God, Jesus, Muhammad or Hitler up on a can.
