Conversant Media unveils “Have Your Say” tv campaign for sporting website theroar.com.au
Conversant Media has unveiled its first-ever TV campaign for its sporting website theroar.com.au in a bid to grow awareness and drive new visitors to the growing sports opinion platform.
Created by Stuart McBratney, the “Have Your Say” campaign is airing across Channels TEN and ONE through July and August.
The Roar, which was founded in 2007, is Australia’s largest citizen journalism community and its presence spans an iPhone app and a daily email newsletter.
It receives more than 390,000 unique users a month and powers the fanzones of the Australian Rugby Union, the New Zealand Rugby Union and Cricket Australia
Says Zac Zavos, managing director of Conversant Media: “Since its creation, The Roar has cemented a spot in the heart of Australian sports fans as the place where they can passionately debate, argue and comment on the biggest sports news and issues of the day. This advertising campaign will further boost The Roar’s brand name and increase our awareness among the wider Australian sports community.”
The Roar runs opinion pieces from fans alongside those of more than a dozen professional journalists. The equivalent of War and Peace (560,000 words) is published on the site every six days by The Roar’s community of contributors.
