Six Wolves, Sydney delivers Australian edge to British fashion icon Ben Sherman campaign
Specialised Sydney street casting and production agency Six Wolves is behind what is claimed to be the first-ever Australian advertising campaign for British clothing label Ben Sherman’s Spring/Summer campaign concept, which included directing, producing and casting.
Six Wolves was briefed to create a campaign look and feel that encapsulated “Londonlife in the park”, with an Australian edge.
Says Six Wolves director Adam Browne: “This was the client’s first creative concept inAustralia so we wanted to keep a London edge to it whilst still giving it an Australianfeel.”
Six Wolves came up with the idea to source an English-inspired garden backdrop that would best showcase the idea of Londoners enjoying summer days in the park with their mates.
As Australia’s first agency to specialise in street casting, Six Wolves worked direct withthe client to create the advertising campaign, which will feature across print, P.O.S andonline in Australia and New Zealand for the next six months.
Shot on location in the garden of one of Sydney’s most historic 18th century mansions,Vaucluse House, Browne alongside his co-director Kristen Perich, brought on boardSydney-based fashion photographer Chris Morris to bring the campaign concept to life.

Looks nice but Darryn Devlin did some good campaigns for Ben Sherman at BAM. So it’s the first Australian campaign for a while but not the first. Just thought I’d clear that up in case you were really worried about it.
“…a London edge to it whilst still giving it an Australian feel.” What embarrassing twaddle.
I totally agree with, July 21, 2011 2:51 PM.
Embarrassing
If you want a London feel where are the empty vodka bottles and syringes on the floor?
I get the shirts are British, I get that the first cliche thing that springs to mind after red buses is the’ English garden’ and I get that Americans and Aussies think all Brits are glazed over faced toffs that nibble bickies and sit on tartan rugs.
But the question is where is the Australian feel? this is just something that could have been shot in England at a fraction of the cost, it reeks of expense paid flight politics to me!
Just noticed the girls two Penguin novels too, why the f**k would anyone need two novels apart from Johnny five?
This is London Style with an Australian twist; and I quote the Poms!
Can anyone really think this is ‘London Feel’ ? If they did, it would just show they have never been to London.Pretty sad really.
And totally agree with July 21, 2011 1:41 PM and July 21, 2011 2:51 PM.
Fail !!
Oooohh. People in a garden. Now there’s an idea worth hiring an agency for.
As any good Pom would say “What bollocks”
‘helped bring the concept to life’, what concept???
this is second-rate fashion wallpaper.I agree w 1:41pm, check out the BAM work by Devlin and Thomson in Archive for a proper Ango-Australian Sherman campaign.
Wow! And we shall call it a fashion shoot.
If you don’t have an idea you at least should make the fashion tight. This is all second rate and trying way too hard
Australian edge?
What the feck.
Lame
Why was this even mentioned by CB??
Concept does not equal ad.
That’s what clients and accounts call stuff like this so creatives don’t get depressed.
