Nando’s Australia launches ‘Little Hotties’

Nando’s have released a fresh campaign to push their new snack products. Based around the website littlehotties.net.au, it allows customers to download a voucher to trial the new products, and is backed up by a large outdoor buy.
The concept was created by Nando’s in-house marketing team.

I looked at the Facebook page for 60 seconds. In that time I saw a complaint from someone that they couldn’t redeem a voucher and a reply from ‘Nando’s Australia’ replying to a comment that had been deleted from someone who found the campaign offensive. Way to rule at Social Media, Nando’s.
@Anonymous – after investigating our account and the staff members who handle the social media, it seems clear that the person who posted the first comment on Facebook (the one shown on the image in this blog post) deleted their it on their end (one can delete one’s comments on Facebook).
Therefore let’s not please jump to conclusions and point the finger at another organisation who would not understand digital – as previously mentioned in my first comment to this post, Nando’s works very hard at making sure we handle social media the way it should be: with transparency and honesty.
As for the customer who had troubles downloading the voucher, it’s the only complaint out of thousands of vouchers issued. Email client settings issue most probably, but then again, many things can happen online and within people’s inbox settings.

i think little hotties is a little cold in terms of idea and thought.
so you have a hot chick, and you can download vouchers???
lame as a chicken with no drumsticks and it’s wing twisted behind its back.
Who cares about the social media policy, l’m still searching for the creative idea here.
Was this filmed at Kittens? I love smut.

@Anonymous – well why don’t you send Nando’s a creative concept if you can do better, good ideas are always welcome. I don’t see why you’re getting so narky about it – always very easy under the veil of anonymity.
Hi Boris.
I can see why you’re in need of good ideas.
I suggest trying an ad agency next time.
Your sincerely,
A. Nonymous.
Well, that was an agency

Enough said!
It certainly was.
It was also certainly approved by the client!
More than enough said!
Nice, so if the work is good it all comes down to the agency’s formidable work. If it’s rubbish it’s the client you signed it.
How about taking responsibility for ALL the work produced, the good and the bad. Is integrity too much asking or are you simply too cool for school and you can’t get over yourself because you’re so fabulous?
Yeah, that’s right, you too frigging fabulous, I forgot. Should be obvious though, I’m so stupid.
