new story.jpgMotion Graphics director Steve Nicholson has found a new home at Airbag Productions.

For the past eight years, Nicholson has combined his duel love of design and film into a successful career spanning television, commercials and title design. After a stint at Exit Films, he moved to Catfish Films where he headed up the motion graphics department. More recently, as a successful freelance director/designer, Nicholson has worked with an extensive list of production companies and agencies, with clients such as Adidas, NAB and McDonald’s.

Says Nicholson: “It’s very important to me that every piece of work, every idea that comes across my desk, is explored to its fullest. As a former freelancer I can’t count how many post houses and production companies I’ve been in, but Airbag just … feels right. The guys and gals here are dedicated to ‘making it beautiful’, and that’s an idea I can get behind. I’ve done some great projects with Adrian (Bosich) in the past, and it only takes a moment to realise how switched on and dedicated Travis and Nick are. Exciting times ahead”.

Airbag EP Victoria Conners-Bell says: “Steve is the perfect addition to the Airbag roster.  He is a real renaissance man who combines a beautiful design aesthetic with cutting edge technologies to create standout work. He exudes a great energy, and his enthusiasm is utterly infectious.”
