I remember when I was a little girl walking around your office in north Sydney, pretending to be a sound engineer just like you! Well done Swampy, you are a super star, legend. X

Jon, I’ll miss those days the producer said, ‘see you at Swampy’s.’
Jon, thank you for setting the high standards for sound design, in the early days.Enjoy your fishing time, although i know your ears wont stop working.
Jon, I’ve never worked with a better mixer and I couldn’t have been more fortunate as a beginner than to sit in Milsons Point and watch (and listen) to your work. And for those of you who never heard phrases like ‘retard dubber three five frames’… you missed out. Enjoy retirement, Jon. You deserve to.
All the best John. Enjoy life in the fresh air
Sorry couldn’t make it last night (due to a last minute shoot of course) but all the very best Jon. I will forever remember the countless great hours mixing with you, many of which included Ben W asleep on the leather couches.
