Leo Burnett Melbourne wins Silver Pencil for Scope and Leo Burnett Sydney wins Bronze for Canon at One Show Entertainment in Los Angeles
Leo Burnett picked up Australia’s only two awards at One Show Entertainment with Leo Burnett Melbourne winning a Silver Pencil in Music for Scope’s ‘See The Person’ and Leo Burnett Sydney winning a bronze pencil in Films: Documentaries for Canon Australia’s ‘Stephen Dupont’.
Leo Burnett, Melbourne creative Andrew Woodhead (left) was at the awards ceremony tonight in Los Angeles to pick up the Pencil.
Best of Show was awarded to TBWA\Chiat\Day LA for Gatorade Replay Series.
One Show Entertainment is the longest running award show of its kind toexclusively recognize the intersection between brands and entertainmentand is judged by a diverse jury from the entertainment, production andadvertising industries.
Australia had 11 shortlisted entries for the show including five for Leo Burnett Sydney.
Leo Burnett Melbourne’s work for not-for-profit organisation Scope’s ‘SeeThe Person’ formed the rock band Rudely Interrupted with five outof the six band members living with physical and/or intellectualdisabilities. Acting as music promoters, Leo Burnett Melbournereleased a single, created a music video and launched a national tourto show the whole country how capable people living with a disabilityreally are.
Showcasing the talent and leadership of six of Australia and New Zealand’s leading professional photographers including Australian Dtephen Dupont – the Canon EOS Masters program aims to inspire and challenge photographers of all experience levels to grow their creative photography capability.
One Show Entertainment garners entries from around the world in film, television, music and gaming to award innovation and creativity in this rapidly expanding arena. Finalists compete for gold, silver and bronze Pencils.
