Publicis Mojo snares former Holler Sydney CD Tim Buesing for digital creative director role
Tim Buesing will join Publicis Mojo as digital creative director, effective January 2011, Craig Davis, co-chairman and regional CCO Mojo, confirmed today.
Buesing has gathered 15 years of digital design and advertising experience in five different countries, at shops such as R/GA, Razorfish, BBDO, and most recently, Holler Sydney. He studied Communication Design in Berlin and at Helsinki’s Media Lab.
With award-winning campaigns for BMW, adidas and Lion Nathan under his belt, Buesing was named among Australia’s Top 10 Digital Creatives, and was pivotal in Holler achieving second hottest agency ranking on the 2010 Campaign Brief/Bannerblog Digital Agency Chart.
The explosion of demand for digital services at Mojo has seen the agency pick up significant digital and integrated business in the past year, including accounts from PayPal and Virgin Mobile as well as a pan- European project for Coca-Cola’s energy drink, Burn, and major digital assignments from existing clients Cadbury and Tourism Victoria.
Mojo also won three out of 11 categories at this year’s IAB awards, demonstrating its expertise in a broad range of digital competencies including digital experience design, social, CRM, branded content, and cross channel integration.
“Collaborating with Mojo on a number of Lion Nathan’s projects showed me how multi-faceted and creative their approach is,” said Buesing. “It’s consistent with my own goal to produce work for big brands that positively affects, entertains and engages people. I like to look beyond immediate campaign goals and open brands up a bit, let their fans have a say.”
Simon Morgan (above right with Buesing and Craig Davis), digital partner at Mojo, said Buesing would be an invaluable collaborator in building on the agency’s integrated capability and culture, and in fueling more world-class work.

Congrats Tim & Mojo.
The hair? Please tell me it’s a piss take. If it is that’s genius.

congratulations Tim!
it’s a hibernating fury animal isn’t it?
I’m thinking Visage, Culture Club, Ultravox, Duran Duran, Japan and Spandau Ballet…
Unfortunately that is his real hair. He thinks he looks good with it. He also thinks good creative is good technology so i guess the hair is awesome in his mind.
I did it first

will work nicely with Matt Houlthan’s occasionly crazy quaff
Congrats Tim, they’re lucky to have someone of your caliber.
I suppose if you sport a quiff you should look serious about it.
Looks a bit like the (not dead) guy from Weekend at Bernie’s?
It’s like a comeback shot of an aged trio who don’t know when to let go.
Tim has never worked with us at R/GA.
I’m sure it’s an honest mistake.
Bob
