Panasonic urges consumers to outsmart summer

panasonicac.pngPanasonic Australia, via The Campaign Palace Sydney, has launched its biggest Air Conditioning advertising campaign ever – ‘Outsmart Summer’ – encouraging consumers to buy now and beat the rush in preparation for those scorching summer days ahead.

The campaign, which launches this weekend on television and radio and is supported by point-of-sale and digital advertising, uses a light-hearted scenario to remind consumers that warmer temperatures are fast approaching and that summer can be much more comfortable with the help of a Panasonic Air-Conditioner.

Mathew Harrison, Group Marketing Manager, Air-Conditioning, Panasonic Australia, said that consumers looking to invest in an Air-Conditioner should buy now to avoid the summer rush.

“With Spring here and a long, hot summer ahead, we urge consumers to start considering their cooling options before the summer heat hits,” he said.

“Taking the time to choose an Air-Conditioner that is best suited to your home is crucial,” continued Mr Harrison. “We hope that this new advertising campaign, along with our other marketing initiatives, will encourage consumers to start thinking about this early so they can get the right Air-Conditioner for them and potentially avoid long waiting times for installation.”

Says Cameron Hoelter, creative director at The Campaign Palace Sydney: “If it’s hot and you don’t have an Air Conditioner chances are you’ll know someone who has. Our message is, make sure you are ready for summer by installing a Panasonic Air Conditioner now, or risk making a nocturnal visit to your cooler neighbours.”
