nice credentials
Nice coup Patts!
Nice to see some Clems tallent heading the other way. Been all one way traffic for the last few years.
Good luck Tom, you’ll fly over there!
Top bloke and a real deal. So big loss for Clems.
Well done Tom. All the best in the new gig.
Great stuff. Well done Tom.
Does anyone need a wine fridge?
Clems loss, Patts gain …
Must have been hard for a suit dealing with all those creative directors. Good stuff Tom. Go Tiges!
Onya Tom. Well deserved.
JB
Congrats Kate, proud of you.
Welcome Tom.
Congrats to Kate as well.
Ms Smither is absolutely top shelf…. nice to see great talent rewarded
The Patts Planning department has just become 27% more roguishly handsome.
27%? how’d you calculate that?
Tom’s handsome.
Congratulations Tom – good work.
All the best Kate.
Lady Smither, mega-congrats. London pints soon.
Columbian.
THE WARD!
Good onya Ward. You’ll smash it over there!
B.I.L.
Ogilvy’s collective IQ just doubled. They are are lucky to get her.
Hi Kate I worked on Dove at Ogilvy London. Tis a tough gig. Jon@303.com.au if you want to natter
The dude also delivered an amazing performance in Walk the Line
Yeah, was that before or after he performed “Let Me Entertain You”?
P&G, L’Oreal watch out!!! Dove is finally going to get some decent strategic direction. Congrats Kate – and commiserations to Patts…
Clearly not the bloke behind the puzzling Foster’s strategies over the last few years. Seems far too bright.
Well, we know who makes all the posts here.
26 about a planner?
Surely an Effie goes to Patts
Congrats Tommy, but that PR shot belongs to Clems. You can’t take it with you.
3:06 – stuff that generated ‘from a place much purer than yours’, ‘taste the future’, ‘made from beer’, ‘ever had a dry dream’, ‘carlton draught tingle’ and ‘follow your natural instinct’?
For me the only one I’d be slightly less proud of is natural instinct, purely because it feels too BMF / Hahn Premium Superdry to me. Slightly less proud of.
The rest are some of the best advertising to come out of Australia. Unless you’re a female chardonnay drinker, in which case I can see why you wouldn’t like them.
From my experience, anyone that Clems wants to keep, Clems keeps. This is no exception.
11:45,
Dry Dreams = pulled
Carlton Draught Tingle = didn’t get to air.
Taste the Future in Your Mouth = such a success that they changed the name of the beer and replaced it with Go With Your Natural Instinct
Made From Beer = Patts
Corona From Where You’d Rather Be = Patts
Midstrength Stay A Little Longer = Patts
9:58. Its over. You lost.
Smashed it 11.45.Nice one!
Check mate. 11.45 wins.
I loved your work in The Wonder Years
9:58,
What about the rest of them?
Shit planning can sometimes make good advertising, but good planning will always make great advertising – in the right hands of course.
Now as they say in NYC, get out the hell of my target market.
Thank you.
