There seems to be an impostor in this spot. As the bloke goes to rip his face of it cuts to a wider shot, but this bloke is different from previous shot then their is a third bloke who is Robbie Fowler. Who is the middle bloke? Apart from that it was pretty crap.
If Robbie Fowler is so awesome, why does he have to tell us who he is? Why isn’t he running a gastro-pub in Dorset like sensible ex-premier league players should? He looks about 90.

5 out of 10…
looks just like the optus football ad only without the animals.
‘Fancy footwork from Fowler’! Come on….the guy plays like a tractor!
uhhhh yeh so clean transition from when he rips the face mask off yeh?
not as the bloke has a different hairstyle?
the A league needs good advertising to compromise for its pathetic entertainment
not stunt doubles to rip a fucking mask off!
12:45 you’re right? Very strange and clunky transition, budget being an issue perhaps. Otherwise on the whole groan out-loud god awful ad. Did client go direct to film production company on this one? Perhaps an agency with an ‘idea’ was required…
Why do we do such shite football ads. The optus animals was fine (the first 300 times).
But for god’s sakes, horrible sound tracks, the mandatory aerial kick etc etc.
